The ‘in pulse’ exhibition investigated the primary physical mechanisms of the human body through lighting and furniture pieces, including ‘on the pulse,’ a table filled with a pigmented mineral oil, creating a tranquil, red mirror finish surface, where a mechanical human heartbeat varies in speed beneath the table and disturbs the surface, rippling the oil and evoking a sense of aliveness.
