Leila Heller Gallery is showing the kinetic sculpture ‘a light breath’ at Masterpiece 2014 in London.
A pillow is injected with movement through a ‘breathing’ motion concealed within. Its ‘whispering window’ quietly echoes the faint sound of human breathing encouraging the viewer to interact intimately with it. The piece is full of human traces, while, simultaneously, is conspicuously absent of it.
