We are honoured to announce the inclusion of Spitting Image Armchair, 2008 in the ongoing exhibition, ‘Bentwood and Beyond: Thonet and Modern Furniture Design’ at the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna. Commemorating Thonet’s bicentennial, the MAK presents “a major exhibition on modern furniture, in which the signature bentwood furniture of the world famous company is placed in the context of contemporary technological, typological, aesthetic, and historical developments.” We are also pleased to note that following the exhibition, the work will remain within the MAK’s permanent collection.
