This exhibition catalogue, published by Phillips de Pury, includes photography and text on the works that formed part of the wild & real? exhibition in New York in 2006.
Alongside the photo series ‘The Wild Emperor’, a range of new works were shown. The exhibition brings together pieces that illustrate Sachs’ experimentation with familiar objects and the playing with opposites such as hot/cold, soft/hard, functional/non-functional, luxury and the everyday. The exhibition, spanned seven gallery spaces, demonstrated his conceptual aesthetic, humorous approach and passion for invention.
