The angular shape suggests the flow of a circuit board, as two beams of neon flow down in to the ‘liquid’ flask below, only to reappear and continue their journey.
The piece forms part of the neon series where a scientific investigation of the limits of argon and neon are combined with the skills of an expert glassblower, to create works made from scientific glassware that challenge our preconceptions of what the gases are capable of.
