A one-off series of Pouring Lights were made for So ein Mist! (What B.S!), Rolf Sachs’ solo show at Stalla Madulain.
The Pouring Lights are made by coupling drilled steel milking cans and buckets that project light. Light projected from the holes creates the zodiac signs of famous artist couples. The star signs of Sophie Taeuber Arp & Hans Arp, Charles and Ray Eames, Jasper Johns & Robert Rauschenberg, Georgia O’Keeffe & Alfred Stieglitz, and Niki de Saint Phalle & Jean Tinguely transformed the cellar of Stalla Madulain into a whimsical cavern.
