This project – two years in the making between 2006 – 2007– places a camera on the bow of the ‘Amazon Express’ boat, owned by Jean Pigozzi . This converted trawler traveled across the world, sailing through the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Panama Canal and along the Pacific coast. The camera captured an image every ten minutes, creating a wealth of unexpected photographs, capturing fleeting moments of water and light.
