Reminiscent of a scientific experiment in the making, ‘dual-lit,’ has coils of warm, neon and blue argon gas winding their way from top to bottom, through a cylindrical, scientific tube, creating spirals of light.
The piece forms part of the neon series where a scientific investigation of the limits of argon and neon are combined with the skills of an expert glassblower, to create works made from scientific glassware that challenge our preconceptions of what the gases are capable of.
