An ode to Wanderlust – to venture in to the unknown; to find oneself – this piece celebrates this aspect of Alpine culture. Its unique form is a comment on the very essence of Wanderlust: an ongoing pursuit that never ends.
‘Wanderlust’ forms part of the Herzschuss exhibition in the Engadin (Switzerland) where Sachs celebrates his close connection to the customs, materials and traditional furniture of his childhood landscape.
The specially created works included furniture, photography and sculpture, offering an immersive, multi-sensory way of experiencing the Engadin valley’s varied and intriguing traditions.
